Orlando/Melbourne, Florida
Me= Becky Morgan, from Melbourne but now live in East Orlando. Wife of a cancer survivor and the most wonderful man (everyone says that don't they?!), mother of my two angels Ava and Ashton, sister to a twin who is 6 years older than me (you're trying to figure that out aren't you?!), daughter to the weirdest parents I've ever met whom I owe everything to. I am addicted to coffee, thinks sugar and microwaves will kill us all (yet I eat and use them way too much!), say I am outdoorsy but freak out over bugs, spend way too much time on pinterest and other blogs (but don't we all), still dream of being a broadway star BUT most importanly have a passion for weddings and events that comes from deep within my sole! I love helping clients achieve their dream! After graduating from UCF's Rosen School of Hospitality I founded L.I.F.E. Events. We service clients throughout Florida including Central Florida and the Space Coast (Melbourne/Vero). We help design, create and execute every detail! Feel free to always email Becky@lifeeventsllc.com to set up an apt...over coffee of course :)

Colors, Colors, EVERYWHERE!!

Looking back when I started planning my wedding I found one of the hardest decisions I made were the colors I wanted to use. I had so many visions in my head of combos that I could do. Mango and cherry, soft pink and green, black and white...the list went on and on and though some were easy to throw out my "short" list still had about 5 combos before I knew what I wanted.
Ive found many brides to have the same conflict. They want a color combo but think since their wedding is outside by the beach it wont work or the colors are too dull for their fancy ballroom reception. Or the color they want doesnt come in the tux/bridesmaid dresses they knew they wanted all along. Whatever the case Ive found it that many deal with this challenge!
My advice to all brides is really think about your personal style as a couple and let's pair that with a color combo that will work well with the style you want for your big day. If you are a modern couple look for bold colors or an accent print that could be used for the napkins or table overlays. For more conservative couples that still want something a little flashy think ivory and soft colors with splashes of a strong accent color!
Once you think of who you are as a couple and what style you are leaning to for your wedding the colors should come a little easier!
Though it is a hard decision its not one to put off until late in the planning. Choosing a color scheme will want to be one of the first items you check off as you will find all the many little details will work around this in some fashion!
Happy color choosing!

Melissa and Ryan!

Melissa and Ryan married Saturday April 24th and what a perfect day it turned out to be...well for most that is! Melissa was sick the entire evening prior and it lasted all wedding day and into the night :( I felt sooo bad for her but she was a trooper through it all and posed for many photos, even did the bouquet toss....and all with a huge smile on her face somehow! She was such a beautiful bride and the groom didnt look too bad himself...(glad they went with the ties though!)

I worked with a few vendors who worked on Amber and Jim's big day just a month ago so it was great to see them again!

Photos from Jim and Amber's big day!

Jim and Amber's wedding!

It was an exciting day when I found out Amber was engaged, not only because I couldnt wait to help plan but the fact that I was about to gain a sister in law as she was marrying my husbands brother! We had over a year to get things rolling and finalized and as always, the day came with a blink of an eye! Jim and Amber got married March 27th at the Tampa Palms Country Club and it was a night never to forget!!

I had the chance to work with a few new vendors for this wedding since it was in Tampa and they all will be highly recommended!
